Colleges in Nebraska

Nebraska is known for producing much of the nation’s beef and pork. Many of the people in the state are composed of German-Americans. University of Nebraska-Lincoln

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln has a population of about 24,600 students. Being that this university is west of the Mississippi, this university was the first university to award doctoral degrees. Most attractively, this university was voted in the top 50 public universities for the 10th straight year.

Metropolitan Community College Area

This college has a population of about 18,600 students. About 57% percent of students on this campus are part time students. Even though this is a relative big college, tuition is only $2,160 a year!

University of Nebraska at Omaha

The University of Nebraska at Omaha has a population of about 14,800 students. This campus is highly known for its military friendliness, ranking #2 in the country according to Military Times Magazine.

Southeast Community College Area

Southeast Community College Area has a population of about 11,500 students. Highly favorable, this college has a contract with John Deere’s agriculture. This campus is dominated by the Caucasian race, which it being 83% of the campus.

Bellevue University

Creighton University
